Pandemicで、単語の使用例が急激に増加した例がこれまでもありました。“address”です。これは、2000年代に入ってブタインフルエンザや鶏インフルエンザの流行とともに頻繁に見られるようになりました。2000年代後半になって、関西学院大学、立教大学、慶応大学（医）で出題され、単語集では、2010年以降になってやっと『ターゲット1900』に最初に登場しています。
